I was honored when CBS asked me to participate in their "Star Trek: 50 Artists. 50 Years." Art Exhibition. I quickly began to create a piece that would pay a worthy homage to such a great show with such memorable characters.
When Leonard Nimoy, a personal hero of mine, passed away suddenly, this project became so much more poignant to me. But, then when CBS told me that they were featuring my piece next to artwork done by the legendary Nimoy, I was absolutely floored!

As many of you know, my kids are my little muses, and the entire reason I get up every day and find the strength to forge ahead in this crazy art-game. So, any project that allows me to do something for them, is a dream project for me. This project for Tree and the Rock (Gallery1988's) forthcoming "Children's Books" show is well BEYOND my wildest dream!
Our house has been filled with the sights and sounds of one curious little monkey ever since my son was born. Needless to say, Curious George has become a staple in our household. For this very special project, I enlisted the help of my son to draw ALL the animals featured in this print, while Papa tackled the finishing touches and adding George himself.
I could not be prouder of my boy! This is our first collaboration, but his second foray into the art world. "Curious Little Monkey" is a 12"x12", giclee on watercolor paper; signed (by both of us) and numbered; limited-edition of 25.
